Want to know what else was brilliant about being...
We told everyone our Baby Girl’s name. And I got to hear other people say her name. In a French accent.
It really is the perfect name.

Highlights from Paris
I have lots more to share with you from Paris but this particular adventure truly was THE HIGHLIGHT of my Paris trip. We were wandering through the streets of Montmartre when we stumbled across a children’s store.
We stepped inside and nearly died with delight. The stuff was beyond gorgeous. And so very colorful - our favorite! We shopped up a storm.
I picked out an adorable little...

Natural Childbirth........maybe
When people ask me whether I will be giving birth naturally, I give them a look as if to say ARE YOU CRAZY and politely say no, I will definitely be having an epidural. The idea of a natural childbirth was never an option for me. I’m a big fat wuss and can’t bear the thought of that much pain. My friend Sonia recommended a bunch of books for me to read, including two on natural...

Our nursery...or lack thereof
I can’t help but feel a wee bit stressed out when I see pictures of other pregnant people’s fully completed nurseries.
I have nothing in my nursery. I don’t even really have a nursery.
We’ve decided to keep our guest room / office mostly as it is for for the first 3 - 6 months of Baby Girl’s life in order to accommodate the grandparents (and anyone else) who...

I brought Winston down to his Aunty Berry’s apartment where he will stay for the next few days while we are away. Leaving him for the second time in a three week period has me almost heartbroken.
He spent the entire taxi ride sniffing every nook and cranny of the taxi. He even checked under the front seat for any delicious crumbs.
Eventually, he decided to get comfortable….on...

Daily Work Outfit
I’m still squeezing into some pre-maternity clothes. This Banana Republic shift dress has always been a favorite of mine. I’m pretty sure you’ve seen it before. I squeezed into it on Friday.
The stretchy material allows my bump to continue growing.
I threw on a cardigan from H&M Mama (their maternity range).

Daily Work Outfit
Wow, how long has it been since an outfit post? Now that I don’t fit into most of my clothes I tend to wear the same few things over and over again so I generally don’t have anything new to show you.
I found these photos on my camera from earlier in the week.
Banana Republic wrap dress - a pregnant woman’s best friend.
Jimmy Choo boots
And the side view! Can I let you...

My Mum is trying to guess names
Mum: I don't want you to tell me but my clue is.....would Jimmy Choo shoes have anything to do with the name?
Me: It's not Tamara.
Mum: You really know your Jimmy Choo shoes.
Me: And you have been reading too many Hello magazines to know the name of Jimmy Choo's owner.

BVI - Day 4
At the end of the hike lay the Bubbly Brook. John and I had been here once before and knew it was well worth the 20 minute walk.
See, look how pretty it is.
What we didn’t know was that the Bubbly Brook was insanely strong the day we went - massive waves came crashing through causing us all to lose our footing and generally flail around helplessly. In other words, fun with a capital...

A conversation via email
Me: Weirdest thing. Picked up a pen to use from my pen holder. Realize it’s awesome and look more closely at it. It says Little Owl and has teeth marks all over it. Not just on the end. All over it. Where did this pen come from?!!
Sarah: I know…..MARY RAMBIN! Not surprising that Mary is a pen-chewer :)
Berry: Apparently their pens are as delicious as their food.
