Book Club does 80s Night
Last night was an official Book Club meeting. The girls came to my apartment again. This time John was allowed to stay ;-) and he was definitely the host with the most. We had a five minute discussion about the fact that we all hated the book and then moved on.
Later on in the evening Marc & Katy and Danny & Jevon joined us and shortly before midnight we all headed over to B.B. Kings...
Um yeah, over half of the Book Club members have tumblrs/blogs. Aisha, please provide a recap I can reblog :-)

On my way to G’s, my cabbie rear-ended a car in front of the Met.
Bookclub did 80’s night.
Aish & I abandoned all friends to stand front row in front of ‘Tainted Love’ the 80’s tribute band we saw.
Somehow dancing and singing this 1hr+ with no drinks (since we didn’t want to lose our spot) was very beneficial.

Operation Clean Up
If my apartment is any indication of how fun last night was, then I’m pretty sure we all had a blast. Operation Clean Up for the next hour followed by brunch with my girls at the Spotted Pig.

Update on my PDAs
I think bullet form works for explaining the utter mess my PDAs are in:
The iPhone is for my personal email - I seem unable to receive any email
The blackberry is for work email - I am unable to receive work email however I can receive personal email (but only after 30 minutes on the phone to AT&T)
Everything is back to front. But for some reason I still love the iPhone.

Seamstress needed
My new Alice and Olivia dress arrived yesterday (the blue one that Berry recommended) and as I suspected a size small is not small enough. Sizing in this country is so random.
I absolutely love it (and it was a bargain) and so I’m considering keeping it if I can find a brilliant seamstress to work some magic. Can anyone recommend a magical seamstress?
And to think I gave up chocolate 2 years ago for Lent. How on earth did I manage that? I’m giving up something really hard again. But for some odd reason I’m not willing to share just yet. Probably because I have serious doubts about whether I can sustain it for 40 days.
