Excerpt from my dream last night

Me: Done.

Dear San Francisco,
John found amazingly cheap flights to you leaving this Friday. Unfortunately, your weather forecast looks shoddy so we will not be going. Boo hiss. Another weekend soon. If you bring the weather, I will bring the fun. I promise.

Dogs of Hell's Kitchen
John: I got chased down by Tiger’s mother today. She seemed to know Winston. Do you know who Tiger is?
Me: Oh yeah, I met Tiger a couple of days ago. She lives on 52nd St and has playdates with a dog that lives further up our block.
And this is what walking my dog is like in my neighborhood. I am having serious trouble keeping up with the names of all the dogs, the owners, and the...

Puppy Kindy
Tonight was the first lesson of 6 weeks worth of dog obedience classes. I was dead nervous before the class but actually end up enjoying myself. Until the moment that the instructor told me I potentially have a future child biter on my hands. But that’s another story entirely.
One of the things they had us do was teach our dog to respond to his name. Winston was brilliant at it....

Someone twittered twitted tweeted (you know what I mean) that I should watch this video about how to curl hair with a GHD straightening iron. I have tried doing this so many times and failed miserably. I think I finally get it now.

Busy Saturday
I am so tired right now. After going to bed at 2.30 last night I was back up at 6.30 this morning thanks to a certain dog.
By 10am we were having brunch, 11am shopping up a storm in the pet store, 12pm shopping up a storm in the garden center, 1pm laying out at Central Park, 4pm back to the garden center, 5pm potting plants, 6pm die on the couch.
I may live to regret the lemon tree
John: Will you please get me a Coke.
Me: No, I'm tired.
John: I bought you a lemon tree
Me: (gets coke)

Cottage
With the warm hot weather upon us this weekend I was reminded of the fact that soon we will be making trips up to John’s parent’s cottage on the St Lawrence (Canadian side obviously). I love going to the cottage and I’m hoping we can spend more time up there this Summer given my flexible schedule. Just a few of my favorite things about the cottage are…..
