Memorial Day Weekend - Central Park
The weather was glorious this weekend so I insisted on a walk through Central Park on Sunday. We ran into (literally, we had a stroller collision) with the friends we had brunch with on Saturday so we all strolled together and then had a sit down in the shade.

Babies Babies Babies
Last November we went sailing in the BVI with another three couples. Out of the four couples, three were pregnant at the time. Couple 1 had their baby girl in March. Couple 2 (us) had our baby girl in April. And Couple 3 had their baby girl on Saturday! Couple 4 - no pressure Emily and Simon but your first-born MUST also be a girl!!

Night time feeding
When people ask me how many times I get up to feed Charlotte in the middle of the night, my answer is twice per night because as far as I’m concerned 6am is the middle of the night.

Teutonia
I really love my stroller. I think I’ve talked about my love for my stroller before. We had a hard time choosing between the Bugaboo and the Stokke and then thanks to a massive sale we ended up with the Teutonia. I’m convinced it’s the best stroller on the market.
And yet I’ve never heard of anyone else having a Teutonia. I’ve never even seen another in the city....

The Fisher Price Little Lamb Cradle Swing
This thing is AMAZING and should be on your must buy list. We originally bought the Fisher Price Bouncer because it took up less room. But the cradle swing is definitely worth the extra expense and the additional space that it needs.

Dogs and their toys
About a year ago John bought Winston an American Airlines toy on his way home from Vegas. It has been a firm favorite of Winston’s. It was starting to look ratty and the airplane noise it makes was starting to die so I went online and bought a new one for a whopping $26. What can I say? He’s still my baby. Plus he gets ignored a lot these days so perhaps it is a guilt present!

The end of my breastfeeding story
I spent a lot of time, energy and money increasing my milk supply during the first 2 weeks of Charlotte’s life. It was a distressful period - I felt like a complete failure and worried about how I was going to feed my baby. But I did it. With perseverance I brought my milk supply up to an acceptable level. Unfortunately, by then my daughter was disinterested in getting the milk directly...

Aerosoles
A couple of months ago I bought a pair of $200 Michael Kors wedges. They are gorgeous but I can’t walk more than a few steps in them. The pain! I was loathe to buy another pair of $100+ pair of wedges so when I walked past Aerosoles recently I decided to go in and have a look around.

Sunday Funday
Yesterday was another jam-packed day in NYC. This weekend was the Hells Kitchen International Food Festival along Ninth Avenue.
