Mamas, I need your help
I would like to buy Charlotte some alphabet blocks, preferably wooden. When I was pregnant I had posted a link to a fantastic set of alphabet blocks but of course now I can’t find it.
Do you have any recommendations?
Fridays are for...
Doing laundry.
For the last 2 years Winston has been driving me mad when I sort out the laundry. He sniffs around the piles of clothes and generally gets in the way. It usually ends with me chasing him across the apartment for a smelly sock that he has made off with.
Since Charlotte learned to crawl last week, I have another little minx getting in the way and making a mess of my piles.

Swimming lessons at the JCC on the Upper West Side. Charlotte even looks cute in a swim cap. Me - not so much.
I tried to teach Charlotte the ins and outs of blowing bubbles. She was far more interested in drinking the water, that undoubtedly is 8 parts water and 2 parts baby pee.
Sunday was for....
A trip to the snow-covered dog park.

Which makes for a very dirty dog.
I can’t wait for the warmer weather so Winston can get a puppy cut again.

The verdict: OH MY GOD IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Something I must admit: I’m a bowl licker. I’m so bad that sometimes I eat more batter than I put in the tin to bake. And when I...

Swimming Class
On Friday morning I took Charlotte to her first swimming class. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and I really didn’t feel like going - especially weird because I’ve been looking forward to baby swimming lessons since I was pregnant.
We donned our swimsuits and then put a thousand layers on top of that and headed out into the snowy streets (apparently the car behind us needs...
