A couple of people asked about the top and the shoes I was wearing in my last outfit post. Well, the pink top is from H&M. So cheap that I grabbed it from the rack without trying it on as I was on my way to the checkout. I very rarely shop in H&M because I’m overwhelmed with the choice and, um, the music is really loud (when did I get so old?).
Anyway I like the top. I wore it again to dinner last night with white jeans.
And the shoes are from J Crew but they were from last summer. In fact, by the time I decided I must have them or I would likely die they had already sold out. I ended up buying them on eBay. They are probably my favorite shoes.

I just held this photo up to show John. He asked who it is. My response - who cares, but LOOK AT THAT DRESS.
Spending our last hours on the beach. The constant schmoozing with John’s co-workers and their spouses, while fun is also tiring. It was one event after another. So it’s nice to round out the trip with a few quiet hours doing absolutely nothing.
Can’t wait to get home tomorrow and scoop my darling daughter into the biggest hug. I’ve missed her so much.

I mentioned the other day that I’ve only bought a couple of maternity items this time round. One of those items is this pair of Seven For All Mankind maternity shorts. They are beyond comfortable & I think I will probably live in them all summer long.
Our gang has taken over the private cabana area for the day.
A few nights before we flew down to Puerto Rico I pulled out all my party dresses to figure out which one I could wear to the dinner that required ‘resort evening attire’. It was comical as I tried to wiggle my way into each dress most of which didn’t zip up or just looked plain ridiculous with a baby bump. Then I remembered this Asos dress I bought after Emily put it on her blog.
