One of the many things we did today was go to the Chelsea Garden Center to buy plants for our two planters (to pretty up our tiny balcony).

As we were chatting to the guy about which plants we should buy, I blurted out ‘Do you have any lemon trees?’  I’m sure John thought it was random that I was asking about lemon trees but I later told him how I have been quite taken by Melissa’s lemon tree.  The guy led us around the corner and showed us this little beauty.  We couldn’t fit it on the Vespa on our first trip so we came back later in the day and picked it up.  

The question is, can I keep my lemon tree alive long enough to sprout at least one lemon?
