hey georgina! we are going to be traveling to Paris and Nice for 2 weeks in September (for our honeymoon!) and we are trying to figure out if we should bring our iPhones. Did you guys get an international plan (since you’re there for a month) or are you just using “Airplane mode” and WiFi Hot Spots (to avoid 3G costs) … let me know!

GAH, am I too late to answer this question?!!!! Don’t bother getting an International Plan - they are not worth it. And there are no WIFI hotspots anywhere so I say leave the iPhones at home!

(We specifically stayed in houses with WIFI so that John could work while were in France which is why we always had access to internet.)

aimers said: there’s wifi everywhere in paris; it’s just like any big city. never been to nice however. we bought our iPhones to Greece & Germany and got to use them quite often on airplane mode.
