San Francisco or Bust
I realized today that we really truly did have el crappo weather in SF over the weekend. Today was a completely different story and it made for a completely different experience. I truly enjoyed my day today and it made me sad that Jen & Berry couldn’t enjoy it with me :-(
My long weekend was spent in Cali staying with Georgina, John & Berry in Marin at a beautiful house with warm weather and sunny skies.
The San Francisco part, not so much. Both days were cold and foggy which was disappointing but hey, what can you do?
Highlights included:
- City Lights Bookstore
- John’s fantastic tour guide skills
- Wonderful food & drinks
- Crashing an Open House of an Italian Villa that, in parts, were my dream home (which I need approximately 7 million to ever own).
- 24/7 of Winston; and
- Exploring The Haight & stumbling upon one of the most fantastic thrift stores ever- ‘Wasteland’.
Lowlights included:
- Being sick.
- Getting everyone else sick.
- 6 hour flights, while sick, are not fun.
