Chicago: Marathon
I have a few posts up my sleeve about my weekend in Chicago. And now I just need to get them out of my sleeve and onto my blog. Where do people find the time to write lengthy blog posts? I barely have time to upload one line items from my iPhone.
Anyway.
Why did I go to Chicago? To cheer on this girl.
I headed over to Emily & Simon’s apartment for a 7am party and shortly after that we claimed a spot at Mile 3 and then headed over to Mile 11.
I cheered my head off last time I watched a marathon but this time Charlotte had other plans for me which included walking up and down the footpath and occasionally stopping to give the runners a clap.
This was Marathon #2 for Jen. She ran New York 2 years ago - you can read about it here. And she was just as successful this time. I am so proud of her!
