Weekend Recap: My nanny quit

My nanny quit.  Before she even started working for us.  And only two weeks before I’m due back at work.

So I’m back to the drawing board.  I put it to the back of my mind over the weekend but will be hitting the nanny postings tomorrow in search of my Mary Poppins.  I went to a nanny seminar a few months ago and learned that it generally takes four weeks to find and employ a nanny.  Did I mention I only have two weeks?  Eek.

I started my (original) nanny search exactly four weeks before I was due back at work.  Somehow I managed to find a great nanny six days later.  Remember how I raved about her?  So fingers crossed it doesn’t take me too long to find another one.  A better one.

Otherwise I’m going to have to set up Charlotte’s activity mat under my desk at work and that would just be weird.
