Halloween….trickle treat!

Here is my little Elmo trick or treating for the first time. Tell the truth Americans, does anyone ever do a trick?

Not only was it Charlotte’s first time trick or treating but it was also my first time trick or treating.

OH MY GOD TRICK OR TREATING IS SO MUCH FUN. Why can’t we do this every Monday night?

John didn’t believe me that we don’t celebrate Halloween in Australia. I mean, I thought it was trickle treating until I was well into my 20s. What the hell is trickle treating? I have no idea - I just thought Americans were a bit bonkers with their weird phrases.

The best part about trickle treating with a 19 month old child is that she has no concept of what candy is so John and I were able to munch on some choice pieces of chocolate in the taxi on the way home.

We did allow Charlotte to eat a few M&Ms though. It is Halloween after all. I think blue is her favorite.
