I went to this salon on Thursday after Alena recommended it. I echo her thoughts below and am happy to have finally found a salon that colors and cuts without completely breaking the bank. Oh, and they do a really great job. So much so that Berry went on Saturday and is also suitably happy with her hair. Yay for word of mouth recommendations!

The salon is fairly bare bones but the man simply kills it with the color and cut every time. It’s like he can read my mind.
And reading my mind apparently only costs $135 (for cut, color and blow out. This is practically unheard of in NYC.)
