Christmas 2011
OK, I am really really really late in posting some Christmas photos but here are a few of my favorites. Some stuff:
- I got into a bit of a panic on the drive up to Canada because I thought there wasn’t going to be any snow. BUT I WAS WRONG! It snowed the night before we arrived and then it snowed ALL DAY LONG on Christmas Day. Perfect.
- And then it blizzarded during our drive home. Not so perfect. John asked if I would take over the driving. I responded You do know I’m Australian, right? Before I moved to New York I assumed that as soon as it started snowing you had to put snow chains on your wheels. Like even a few flakes of snow would require this. Clueless. (I’m still not entirely sure when snow chains are required). And understandable why John was totally joking when he asked me to take over the driving.
- Charlotte really loves her cousins. If only they lived closer.
- Do you live in Ottawa? You need to eat Mexican food at the Lone Star. It’s the only Mexican-style food that I like eating.
Ottawa, Canada
