Ever wondered why pregnancy tests come in boxes of three?
I don’t have an outfit post for you today so instead I will share a story with you.
When I realized I might be pregnant, I walked down to Duane Reade to buy a home pregnancy test. I stood in the aisle assessing the various brands. I really just wanted to buy one single test but they all came in boxes of three. Three? Really? I only need to test myself once. Anyway, off I went back home with my box of three tests.
I peed on a stick.
Three minutes later the little digital display said ‘Pregnant’. WHAT? REALLY? It can’t be true. Which is why I then dug into the box and ripped open another test.
Just to be sure.
The next day we got up at 6am to drive up to Canada because we were far too excited to wait another second to tell our family. I peed on the third stick just before we set off.
Just to be sure.
I now understood why they come in boxes of three. Next time I’ll probably buy two boxes.
