I’m always on the lookout for iPhone applications that make life easier and eliminate paper documentation.
My friends alerted me to this great website called TripIt - an online travel itinerary and trip planner. You simply email all your travel confirmations to their website (after setting up a profile) and they store them all in one place. The iPhone application means you have access to the details when you are on the go.
In addition, you can share your itinerary with other people. John and I used our points to book our hotel in Paris so we actually have two separate reservations - he reserved the first two nights and I reserved the second two nights. Now I am able to see the details of both reservations through the tripit iPhone app.
You can also share your itinerary with people who are not on Tripit. Your Mum won’t stop worrying about you, but at least she’ll know where you are!
