Our nursery…or lack thereof
I can’t help but feel a wee bit stressed out when I see pictures of other pregnant people’s fully completed nurseries.
I have nothing in my nursery. I don’t even really have a nursery.
We’ve decided to keep our guest room / office mostly as it is for for the first 3 - 6 months of Baby Girl’s life in order to accommodate the grandparents (and anyone else) who will be visiting. Baby Girl will sleep in our bedroom. The only thing we will do is paint - colors to be decided - and buy a change table and rocking chair (not quite sure how we will fit them in but where there’s a will there’s a way).
I’m not going to complain though. I have a colleague that recently had a baby and they live in a one bedroom apartment. I can’t even imagine how cramped they must be.
