Marc’s lovely girlfriend Katy is in LA this week so Marc and John took advantage and went out for a few quiet drink without us tonight.  Marc just rang me.  Some nuggets from our conversation:

Marc: I need to find something to eat

Me: Didn’t you eat dinner 3 hours ago with John?

Marc: Yes…but that’s not included.  Please can we go to the beach this weekend?

Me: No I can’t.  We are going to Canada for the weekend.

Marc: Oh no.  Why do you want to go and hang out with people on ice skates?

Me: Hmmmm….I don’t think Canadians wear ice skates all the time.

Marc: Well can we please go out and drink lots and lots of tequila the weekend after that.

Me: OK….(Sigh).
