My name is Georgina. I am Australian. I recently relocated to Greenwich CT after 6 years living in New York City. I live with my partner John and our two sweet girls - 4 year old Charlotte and almost 2 year old Alexandra. Oh, and let's not forget the fur-baby Winston. Welcome to my corner of the internet. I hope you brought cake.

Georgie Girl

Charlotte woke up from her nap complaining of a stomach-ache and then promptly threw up a couple of times. There’s never a dull moment in our house.
I never really know when I should or shouldn’t take her to the doctor. I don’t like to over-react and yet I don’t want to miss anything serious. My instinct told me that she probably didn’t need to go to the doctor but I still consulted my bible: Your Child’s Health: The Parents’ One-Stop Reference Guide to: Symptoms, Emergencies, Common Illnesses, Behavior Problems and Healthy Development. It was given to me as a gift when Charlotte was born and I have consulted it so many times since then. You can quickly look up a symptom and figure out what might be causing it but more importantly it specifies when you should call your doctor immediately (regardless of the time), or call during office hours, or simply ride it out for a few hours first.
Just thought I would pass on the recommendation.
