My name is Georgina. I am Australian. I recently relocated to Greenwich CT after 6 years living in New York City. I live with my partner John and our two sweet girls - 3 year old Charlotte and baby Alexandra. Oh, and let's not forget the fur-baby Winston. Welcome to my corner of the internet. I hope you brought cake.

Georgie Girl

Yesterday I took Charlotte to orientation for her preschool. John thought I would be teary about the fact that my baby was getting so big but instead I was really excited about this next big toddler step. I couldn’t wait to meet the other children that Charlotte will be hanging out with every day for the next two years (as well as meet the other mothers).
Charlotte was not at all excited about going to ‘school’ until I confirmed I would stay with her the whole time. She was a bit clingy at first but eventually got down on the floor without me and played with a ton of different toys. The teacher read all the children a book and then they all sat down for a snack. I mean, I just about died. It was so adorable to see them all sitting together eating their snack. After snack we all headed out to the playground that belongs to the preschool and Charlotte nearly lost her mind. And I don’t blame her. It is perhaps the best playground we’ve ever played in.
It was such a great morning to allay any fears either one of us had. And I finally felt 100% happy with the decision we made in sending her to this particular school.
