Is everyone else getting hammered with emails from retailers telling them about sale after sale after sale?  And is everyone doing the same as me?  Deleting without even reading them.

I can think of very few occupations that are completely safe from the fantastic fuckup that is our current economy.  I, for one, have been making a concerted effort to cut back my spending.  Just in case.  I know that if everyone does this (and a straw poll of my friends suggests that everyone is doing this) it most defintely does not help our economy, but seriously, now is not the time to be buying myself Jimmy Choos.  Also, after watching that program on mimimum wages I just don’t see how it’s cool to drop sh*tloads of cash on stuff like that.  I know this last line will come back to bite me in the ass at some point, but whatever, I’m on high horse now and I ain’t getting off just yet.

It’s not all doom and gloom though.  Berry and I are having a fantastic time getting inspiration from each other, magazines, our beloved J Crew catalogs, etc and putting new outifts together from things we already own.  We’ve already virtually high fived each other this morning over today’s outfits.
