Daily Outfits - Date Night Outfit
Last night John took me out for dinner to celebrate my last day at work. I’m officially on maternity leave.
Without doubt, my best maternity purchase has been my (non-maternity) Juicy Couture leggings. I wear them constantly. Teamed with:
Daily Outfits - Valentine’s Day
I am sick to the back teeth of wearing the same old things over and over again but with only 7 weeks left in this pregnancy, I am refusing to buy anything new to wear. Yesterday, my friend Katy came to my rescue. She works in a fashion showroom and found three dresses that she thought would work well as maternity tops. She was right!
We went out for dinner last night to 44 1/2. The food is pretty damn tasty. I scavenged up an outfit that I don’t think I’ve photographed before.
This outfit brought to you by John who often acts as my personal stylist. He spotted the dress in a shop window and encouraged me to try it on and he also spotted the boots on a rack out the front of another store.
And you don’t need to tell me - BAD hair day yesterday. I’m heading to the hairdresser this weekend thank god.
I bought a new dress for my Baby Shower. Obviously. I bought this online for the bargain price of $57 reduced from $150. I bought the tights in Tesco when I was living in the UK. And the shoes are Enzo Angiolini.

I wasn’t sure if the dress was a bit mumsy. But I decided I really liked it once I had the tights and shoes on.

I’m always very proud of myself when I pull together an outfit of non-maternity clothes.

The milder weather today meant I didn’t have to wrap up in multiple layers.

Daily Outfit - New Year’s Eve 2010
We spent our New Year’s Eve eating yummy food with our friends Blaine and Jen (who have been staying with us for the past few days) in a restaurant called Sapphire in Vail Village. I managed to cobble together an outfit made up entirely of non-maternity clothing.
It was freeeeeeeezing last night. We had intentions of going to an Indian restaurant a couple of blocks away but it was full. So we braced ourselves against the cold and continued heading up to our favorite sushi restaurant. I actually enjoyed sushi for the first time even though my meal didn’t include anything raw. I’ve already requested proper sushi as my first meal after I deliver Baby Girl. In fact, this restaurant is less than a block from the hospital! Maybe we’ll stop in on the way home ;-)
I asked John to take a pic of my outfit because I wanted to show you the maternity coat I blogged about the other night. So warm and just the right length. Although it doesn’t look like it, I do have a dress on under there!

I have lots of room to grow in this coat :-)
We went out for dinner a couple of nights ago and I immediately knew that I would be donning my new faux fur gilet (that I bought in Paris). I think I’m going to wear this a lot over the next couple of months because……not matter how fat I get it will fit!

And the side view.

I’m still squeezing into some pre-maternity clothes. This Banana Republic shift dress has always been a favorite of mine. I’m pretty sure you’ve seen it before. I squeezed into it on Friday.

The stretchy material allows my bump to continue growing.

I threw on a cardigan from H&M Mama (their maternity range).

Daily Outfits - Date Night Outfit
As you well know I love being pregnant. But last night was one of those nights when I wanted to get dressed up and drink a glass of wine, dammit. I did the best I could with the limited maternity clothing I have (and did not drink any wine, of course). But honestly, I felt like a frump. You be the judge.
